"Too Human"

Sketch #22

Aeris cannot die. When she does reach the point of death, First Matter takes over her body where her brain should be controlling.

First Matter is a radioactive, unstable, and chaotic material of creation. Some say it is intelligent, some say it is a thought-form. At the point of death, it surges out of her bones and causes rapid and abnormal growth throughout her body. Unlike most transformations, she never looks the same every time she does transform. But she always resembles something between a bird, a big cat, and a dragon.

She's supposed to have a tail, but for some dadgum reason, I keep forgetting to draw it.

When she transforms after she 'dies,' her vitality slowly returns.

There's always some portion of her transfigured body that retains some of her human nature, but has very little control over what a bloodthirsty demon body does. In this, you can see it is the bird thing on top of her head.

This part of Aeris has to fixate on some object or person she remembers in order to turn back to human. Sometimes it doesn't work. 8(


If anyone remembers "Mid-trans, The Rage Demon," this is a remake of that one.
